William E. Chaltraw graduated from the University of California, Los Angeles with a B.S. in Biology in 1994. He earned his Juris Doctorate from the University of Houston Law Center, a law school that contains a special emphasis in healthcare law, in 1999 where he graduated cum laude. Mr. Chaltraw practices in the areas of general business, corporate law and real estate concentrating on healthcare law. He is experienced in advising physicians, hospitals, medical groups, and other healthcare providers and entities on the business and regulatory aspects of the healthcare industry. He is also experienced in representing healthcare providers and entities in connection with a variety of healthcare contracting, business formation and structuring issues. Mr. Chaltraw has assisted clients with a wide range of regulatory matters, including Federal and State fraud and abuse compliance, payment and reimbursement (Medicare, Medi-Cal, and private payor), and HIPAA. Mr. Chaltraw also has expertise in intellectual property. Mr. Chaltraw is a member of the Fresno County and American Bar Associations, the American Health Lawyers Association, the California Society for Healthcare Attorneys, and the Health Law Section of the American Bar Association. He is licensed to practice law in the State of California and in the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of California. |
